William Nelson Black, 78, of Springfield, died yesterday morning at his residence. He was a member of Laurel M. E. church. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at Bisch and Son's Memorial home. Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah; two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Walker and Mrs. Ethel Finkey; six sons, Dr. A. V. Black, Los Angeles; Harvey, Williamsville; Earl, Peoria; Orba, Oscar, and Russell of this city; four sister; thirty-three grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
