Jack N. Moreland, passed away peacefully January 7, 2011 with his family by his side. He was born December 15, 1930 in Woodsboro, Texas. Jack proudly and faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force for twenty two years. He received many awards and decorations during his time of service, which included the air medal, air force commendation medal with two oak leaf clusters and the humane action medal. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Lee and Willie Mae Moreland, Three children, Dawnn Elizabeth, Gary Wayne and Alvin Lee Moreland, and his brother Alvin Glenn and his sister Millie McNabb.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of fifty six years Marion Morleand and children, Terrie Roschetzky (James), Norma Moreland (Lee), Derek (Linda) Moreland, By his side also was his favorite niece Genny McNabb, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Fuenral service to be held at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow with military honors at Seaside memorial park cemetery.
