JAMES TAYLOR BARCLAY
Son of the Late James E. Barclay, Pioneer Village Druggist, Dies in His California Home

James Taylor Barclay, formerly of Oak Park, passed away of influenza December 27, 1932, at his home in California. Mr. Barclay was the son of the late James S. Barclay, an Oak Park veter- (sic) and druggist. He was born December 14, 1876 in Cairo, Illinois, and came to Oak Park in 1890 when his father opened the Golden Lion Drug store at 103 Marion street. He was associated in business with his father until the latter's death in 1902. He attended the Oak Park High school and was an active worker in the First M. E. church.

Since 1911 he had made his home in the West. He is survived by his widow, Anna M. Barclay, and a sister and a brother, Luan E. Barclay and Philander W. Barclay of Oak Park.

Interment will be in Oak Ridge cemetery, Springfield, Illinois, his mother's family having been among the pioneer settlers of that city.
