Hill Watson Olive, Jr., was born on April 22, 1913 in Columbus, Georgia, and passed away January 3, 2001. He lived for more than 50 years in Oklahoma City, OK. He moved to Arlington, TX this past year to live near his family. He had retired from being a partner with his brother in owning and running Olive Ma chine Works in Oklahoma City. They owned and operated Olive Machine Works for about 35 years. After selling Olive Machine Works, upon the death of his brother, he was a consultant in the same business for about 5 years. He was a member of the Oklahoma Rose Society and a Consulting Rosarian and Rose Judge for the National Rose Society. He was a member of the Masonic Order and was a 32nd Degree Mason. In his later years he wrote poetry and his autobiography. At the time of his death he was in the process of compiling information for his family history for a second book. He was preceded in death by his wife Faye C. Olive; parents Hill Watson Olive, Sr. and Jadie Olive and his brother, Wylie Robert Olive, Sr. Mr. Olive will lie in state at the funeral home for viewing. The funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 8, 2001 at the Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Chapel with interment following at Rose Hill Burial Park.
