Survivors are his daughter, one son, Capt. A. B. Green, Hunter Air Force Base, Savannah; two sisters, Mrs. A. N. Olliff, Mrs. John Hamilton; one brother, Will C. Green, all of Claxton and five grandchildren.
Mr. Green operated an ice plant in Statesboro located on East Gray street at the railroad, which he established in 1909. Before his retirement, he had an interest in sawmills. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held at the Carter Funeral Home in Hinesville at 10 o'clock today (Thursday), conducted by Elder V. F. Agan, pastor of the Atlanta Primitive Baptist Church, and the Rev. Clyde Harvard. Burial will be in the East Side Cemetery in Statesboro.Carter Funeral Home in Hinesville is in charge of arrangements.
