CALHOUN CITY~~~Hattie Wall McPhail, 105, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011, at the Calhoun Health Services Nursing Home. She was born Dec. 17, 1905, in Calhoun County. She was a retired nurse. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Forrest City, Ark., and attended the Calhoun City First Baptist Church. Her hobbies were art, drawing and photography.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Vance officiating. Burial will be in the McPhail Cemetery in Calhoun City.

Survivors include one daughter, Frances Lynn McPhail of Calhoun City; a grandson, Preston Buford of Sherwood, Ark.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Truett McPhail; a daughter, Lula Bell Buford; and her parents, Marshall Wall and Belle Swindoll Wall.
