A native of Covington, she was the daughter of Roy and Katie "Cooper" Stuart. Mrs. Curd attended Covington and Veedersburg schools and Center High School in Delaware County. She was formerly employed with Cunnington Fish Market, American Lawn Mower, and Muncie Aviation Company.
Mrs. Curd was a 62 year member of Southside Church of the Nazarene where she was chairman of the Social Committee for 40 years.
Survivors include one son, Robert; one daughter, Sharon; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Curd was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer C. Curd, her parents, three brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services for Mrs. Curd will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Southside Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ron Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
