He was born July 17, 1910, in Greene County, a son of the late Walter Rayle and Florence Strope Rayle, of Cameron, W. Va., who survives. His wife, Opal Durbin Rayle, of Cameron, W. Va., also survives.
Mr. Rayle was a Baptist by faith and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 758, Cameron. He had been employed by the Manufacturers Light and Heat Company at the time of his death.
Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are two daughters: Mrs. Ivan (Patricia) Antill, of Cameron; and Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Neely, of Cameron; one son, Lawrence (Pete) Rayle of Mercerville, N. J.; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Clarence Scott, of Cameron; and three brothers, Charles Rayle, of Canton, Ohio, Gene Rayle, of Punxsutawney, and Carl (Bill) Rayle, of Canton, Ohio.
