Age 74 years 9 mos 19 days. Daughter of John and Mary Eliza Barnett; wife of 1) John Grundy, with whom she is buried; and 2) Willis Baker, who is buried in Ashland, IL. The stone is in the name of Anna Grundy.

Mrs. Anna Baker, Springfield, who in former years conducted a restaurant business with her husband, died yesterday at St. John's hospital. She was 74 years old.

Mrs. Baker was a native of Petersburg and came to Springfield more than fifty years ago. She and her husband, Willis, operated the restaurant for a number of years. When her husband died two years ago she sold the business.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Constant, Middletown; Mrs. Pearl Siegrist, Delavan; one son, J. C. Adams, South Pekin; one stepson, James Grundy, city; one sister, Mrs. Mary Earl, Mt. Carmel; one brother, Preston Barnett, city; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. three children, Nellie, Lula and Lester, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Baker was a member of the auxiliary to the Grand Army of the Republic.

Funeral services at Ellinger & Kunz funeral home and interment will be in Oak Ridge cemetery.
