Mrs. Hattie L. Barry died 29 Nov. 1897, at the family home at 19th & Penn. sts., aged 42, of stomach trouble. She was the wife of John Barry & the eldest daughter of Col. Michael Allgaier, one of the early settlers of the Platte Purchase. She was the mother of 8 children, six of whom are Michael, Rose, Anna, Mary, John, and Agnes. She also leaves her husband, brothers & sisters. Services at St. Patricks Church & burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
