Uriah Marion Losey was born in Davis County, IA and he lived there with his parents. He was married in Troy, Kansas June 22, 1887 and made his home on a farm near Liberty, NE. He moved to Harlin County,NE and made his living on a family member's farm located near Naponee,NE from 1906 to 1910. From 1910 through 1916 his farm home was near Division,KS.(Division is now a Kansas ghost town but the farm was located about twelve miles southeast of Dighton,KS.) He made his last move to Tulare, CA where he lived and worked at least part time with his son Perry Phillip Losey on that son's farm. It was located in Tulare Township, Tulare County, CA. He also owned at least 40 acres of farm land in Tulare County, CA.
