MRS. ADAH THOMASON

Sister Adah Thomason, wife of A.J. Thomason, departed this life Jan. 19, 1925 at her home in Anadarko, after loving hands had done all they could. She just went to sleep in Jesus' arms. She was born in the state of Missouri June 29, 1862. She was married in the year 1894. To this union was born one daughter, who died at the age of ten. Deceased is survived by her husband; two step-children, T.A. Thomason, who lives in Canada, and Mrs. Laura Lisk, who lives at Washita, Ok.; one brother and a host of friends to mourn her loss.
While we are lonely without her, she is at home in the place which she had been preparing for so many years. She was converted at the age of 14, joining the M.E. Church, and lived a pure, clean, holy life. About five years ago she united with the Church of the Nazarene at Washita, remaining a member until her death. She was of a kind and loving disposition, loved and respected by all who knew her. She was a constant worker in the church as long as her health would permit. She was always doing something to lead someone to a better life. Just before she died she told us she saw that beautiful city not made with hands. While we cannot call her back, we can go to meet her.
