Mrs. Helen V. (Loughrey) Carroll, 84, formerly of Chester, was buried today in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia, following a solemn requiem mass sung by her son, Rev. John J. Carroll, assistant of St. Ambrose Church, at the church in Philadelphia.
Mrs. Carroll was the widow of Nicholas M. Carroll and died Tuesday in Germantown Hospital, Philadelphia. Surviving are another son, Frank of Chester, with whom she had made her home, a daughter, Helen A. of Philadelphia, a grandson and one great-grandson.
