MRS. CHARLES P. GEORGE

MEMPHIS, Tenn. Oct 18 - Mrs Permelia Curtis George, daughter of the late Charles Curtis, former Vice President of the United States, died in the Baptist Hospital here last night. Her age was 67. She was the widow of Brig. General Charles P. George.
Mrs George came to Memphis two weeks ago from San Antonio, Tex. to visit her daughter, Mrs Harrison Humphreys. She was born in Topeka, Kansas and graduated from Wellesley College.
Surviving also are a son, Maj. Curtis George, stationed at Camp Rucker, Ala.; a sister, Mrs Webster Knight 2nd of Providence R.I. and three grandchildren.
