Frances Marie Hallam (aka Fannie) went to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ October 25, 2010.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years Douglas, her Son Lynn; Daughters Connie and Denette; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister Dorothy.

Frances was born in Williamson, Iowa on July 6, 1925. She graduated from Lew Wallace High School in Gary, Indiana in 1943. During World War II, she worked at a corner grocery store as a stocker and clerk. In 1940 she met Douglas at a local church. They dated until he was called into the military service in 1943. They were married six days after he was discharged from the Army, March 1, 1946. They moved to Colorado in 1948.

She was involved in the Lord's work teaching Sunday School for pre-school to middle school children. She was active in Christian Women's Club for many years. She was always available to help her friends when needed and would do anything that was needed. She and Douglas played softball on the Malley Senior Center team for about 5 years. Douglas was the pitcher and Frances was the catcher. Frances spent her last 7+ years in the Garden Terrace Alzheimer Center. She was a born again Christian having accepted Jesus as her Savior.

Frances will be buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Her soul and spirit will be with the Lord Jesus until the rapture occurs. There will be a Home Going Celebration for Frances at Holly Hills Bible Church at 1600 South Holly Street in Denver on October 30th at 10:30 am with a light lunch to follow.
