In 1932 she graduated from the Bouve Girls College at Boston. Later, she taught physical education at Wells College at Aurora in New York.
In 1956 she was champion ladies golfer of New Hampshire.
She was a member of the First Parish Congregational church; and Armstrong Chapel, Indian Hill.
She was a resident of Dover in New Hampshire most of her life, until the family moved to Cincinnati in 1958.
