Mrs. Eunice Anderson Hodges, 86, died Wednesday at Statesboro Nursing Home after a long illness. The Bulloch County native had lived in Savannah before moving back to Statesboro 40 years ago. She was a member of the Atlantic Primitive Baptist Church in Savannah.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Geneva H. Banks, Statesboro; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The funeral service for Mrs. Hodges will be today at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Hodges-Turner Funeral Home with Elder Roy Simms and Elder V.E. Love Sr. conducting the service. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery. Hodges-Turner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
