Benjamin was killed instantly when the car he and his wife,Monnie, were riding in crashed, I've been told ,inside the city limits of Chowchilla. He and Monnie had just found out they were going to have a baby, and they were so happy. Monnie survived the crash but had to be on bedrest all the rest of her pregnancy. She almost lost her baby daughter,but she survives still.
