Mr. James Arthur Clayton, age 62, of Lovelady, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 in the Winfield Nursing Center in Crockett. He was born December 15, 1948 in Crockett and had lived most of his lifetime in Lovelady. Mr. Clayton was a logger and of the Baptist faith. He loved fishing and hunting.
Survivors include daughters, Tonya Clayton of Huntsville, Jennifer Clayton and Tommy Kron of Lovelady; grandchildren, Kelsie Clayton and Layna Clayton; Pam Alfred and husband, Jason of Grapeland; brother, Boyd Clayton and wife, Carrie of Glendale; nieces, Vicki Dobbs, Kathy Dennis and Lori Brewer.
Preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Marie Clayton.
