Our lovely Mother, Alice Jane Dewey Kidd, born August 5, 1937 to Leonard Valess and Constance Alice Pack Dewey and later married William Henry Kidd. Alice was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Alice enjoyed reading, tennis, water aerobics, walking and spending time with friends and family. Alice worked as a librarian and coached her twin girls bobby sox teams. A giving and loving mother and wife, she now is with her husband Bill and son Gregory who preceded her in death. Alice is survived by her children Luana (Steven) Davis, Marsanna (Michael) Fay, Diana (Andrew) Rowley, Bill (Linda) Kidd and her daughter-in-law Pam Kidd. Alice leaves behind her 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grand-children. Till we meet again, your loving family. Funeral services Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Crosspoint Ward, 1327 W 5550 South. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and Wednesday from 10-10:45 at the church prior to services. Interment Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, California.
