Wife of Kenyon L. Reynolds of Pasadena, who built one of the first gasoline cracking plants in California in the early 1900's as general manager of Los Angeles based Pacific Gasoline Co., which later was bought by Standard Oil Co., Patricia died of cancer in 1945.

Following her death, Kenyon donated much of his wealth to the Roman Catholic Church and entered the Benedictine Order, receiving the religious name, Bede.

At a later date, Patricia's remains were exhumed and re-buried in the basement crypt beneath the bell tower at Westminster Abbey, British Columbia.
