PHILLIPS, MRS. MAMIE -- Of 1530 East Adams street, died at 8:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 1935, at St. John's hospital, age 43 years. Survived by husband, Frank; five daughters, Mrs. Wilma Gorbett, Mrs. Edith Daurghty, Mrs. Opal Cawley, Miss Fern Phillips and Miss Ardell Phillips, all of city; two sons, William and Edward, both of city; mother, Mrs. Lizzie Spyre, Beecher City; one sister, Mrs. Tillie Perkins, city; one brother Elmer Phillips, Beecher City. Member of Christ Episcopal church. Remains to Bisch Memorial home.

PHILLIPS -- Funeral for Mrs. Mamie Elizabeth Phillips, 1530 East Adams street, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at residence and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal church. Rev. Edward Haughton officiating, interment in Oak Ridge. Mr. Bisch directing.

Open Verdict At Inquest. - An Open verdict of accidental death was returned yesterday by a coroner's jury at an inquest into the deaths of Mrs. Mamie Phillips and her son Chester, 10, of 1530 East Adams street, who were killed Nov. 4 in a train-truck crash at Third street and South Grand avenue. Coroner J.P. Knox conducted the inquest.
