James R. Pickeral, Sr., age 82, of White Plains, MD. Beloved husband of Cheryl Pickeral; father of JoAnne Shaw, James R. Pickeral, Jr., Lyn Pickeral, Gail Davis, Mary Loiselle, Jeannie Richards, Robert J. Pickeral, and Timothy Pickeral; brother of William Pickeral and the late Ada Anderson, Gladys Horton, Grace Simmons, and Laura Canter. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to his sisters, he was predeceased by his granddaughter Katharine Marie (Katie) Bowen.

He had been employed as a mechanic with Ryder Truck Rental in Beltsville, MD. He was a member of Moose Lodge 1709 and Elk Lodge 2124, both of Waldorf.

Relatives and friends may call at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, MD 20707 on Thursday, February 24, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral will be held on Friday, February 25, at 12 noon. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.

There will also be a gathering at Moose Lodge Family Center, Lodge 1709, 4765 Crain Highway, White Plains, Maryland 20695, (301) 932-2421 following the graveside service.
