The funeral of Mrs. Harriet Campbell, 89, who died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T. M. Enloe, of Russellville, was held Monday afternoon at the Russellville Baptist Church. The Rev. H. W. Allee of Russellville preached the funeral sermon.
Mrs. Campbell had been ill for some time. Death was not unexpected. It was the result of a complication of afflictions.
Born near Russellville, Mrs. Campbell was one of the pioneers of the community. She was an active member of the Baptist Church and left many friends as well as relatives to mourn her death.
She was married to L. R. Campbell in 1862. Four daughters survive. They are Mrs. T. M. Enloe, Russellville; Mrs. George Dawson, Kansas City; Mrs. O. V. Farris, Jefferson City; and Mrs. G. M. Walker, Excelsior Springs. She is also mourned by one brother, William Francis of Spring Garden; 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
