He was born July 27, 1917 in Gilmore Township, a son of the late Charles C. Shough and Mollie White Shough.
Mr. Shough was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of the Local #66 Operating Engineers out of Pittsburgh, PA. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Troy Shough; three sons, Leon Shough of Wana, WV, Wayne Shough of Wind Rige, PA and David Shough of Morgantown; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three daughters, Patricia "Patty" Six, Carla Lewicki, and Carole Richardson; and twin sons, Ronald and Robert Shough, who died as infants.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Wednesday with the Rev Carol Adcock officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at New Freeport, PA.
