She was born June 8,1921 in Tenn. the daughter of the late Albert and Ida (Sells)Wright. She worked and retired from the New Castle State Hospital after 30 years of service,where she was a supervisor of Housekeeping. She was a long time and active member of the Spiceland Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband Clint Lowhorn of 68 years;daughters Beverly Gail Bowling (John) and Rita Flynn (Sam) of Maryville,Tenn.,Judi Murphy (Dennis) of Ft. Wayne;sons:Charles (Sharon) and Roger Lowhorn both of New Castle; grandchildren:Tami Meeks and Cindy (Rod)Melton, Dennis Murphy II (Angie),all of Ft. Wayne,Ken Bowling (Nora) of Maryville,Tenn,Mitzi (Gre)Hughes of Greenfield,Sheri (David)Turner,Kelly (Tonya)Turner both of New Castle,Kristy Davidson of Nw Palentine,Wade Lowhorn of Indianapolis, Michele (Mike)Davis,April (Daniel)McLain of Lewisville,Tenn;21 grandchildren (they are named in her obit)
Preceded in death by her parents;sister:Amy Wright and brother:Elbert Wright.
Services were handled by Marcum Community Funeral Home. Burial was in South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition.
