Russell Dick
Russell Dick was born in Kenesaw, Nebraska June 27, 1912. He departed this life August 9, 1975.
He was united in marriage to Marceline Thompson on December 16, 1934.
To this union two children were born: Carol and Hugh.
Russell spent his life as a devoted father and husband. He was always interested in community affairs and was a lifetime farmer near Zurich. He was a member of the Plainville United Methodist Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Marceline of the home; a daughter, Carol Humes, Houston, Texas; a son, Dr. Hugh Dick and wife Jan of Colorado Springs, Colo.; five grandchildren, Dick, Dawn and Lorie Humes and Amy and Jennifer Dick of Zurich; a sister-in-law and husband, Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Detels, Arvada, Colo.; two nephews and one niece, and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 12, at 10:00 a.m. at the Plainville United Methodist Church, Rev. Garner Berg and Rev. Mark Berland were in charge of the service.
