This community was greatly shocked Sunday on hearing of the death at the Mt. Livermore House of Miss Georgia E. Jewell, the youngest daughter of the late B. F. Jewell. The cause of death was diabetes with complications. Miss Jewell was recovering from an attack of measles and was out doors last week Thursday.

Mrs. Jewell was born at Lakeport and was 24 years of age. She was a favorite in the home and among the hundreds of summer people that make the Mt. Livermore estate their home during the summer.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the home with Rev. F. G. George officiating clergyman and the Mt. Livermore Grange, of which order she was a member, performed its burial service. Music was furnished by the Oberon Quartette of Laconia. Interment was at Green Grove Cemetery. >The Ashland Citizen, April 30, 1904, p2.
