Bartley Hempstead Dies
--------
Aged 49,of 261 Maplewood Avenue,Struthers;
died at his residence at Seven A.M
after a two months illness.
He was employed as a car repair man at
the Sharon Steel Hoop.
He is survived by three sisters:
Mrs.Hugh Blakely and Mrs.Michael Quinn,
both of Struthers;
Mrs.Walter Wiley of Pittsburgh,Pa.;
and two brothers:
Joseph Hempstead of Pittsburgh;
and John Hempstead of Struthers.
He had been married 18 years ago to
Grace Hoover,who died four years ago.
The body will remain at the
Davidson Funeral Home at Struthers until
the time of services.
Services will be held at Nine A.M
Saturday at St.Nicholas Church.
Internment will be at Lowellville.
The family will meet friends at the funeral
home from 7:30 to 9:30 this evening.
