ST. PAUL - Rodney Wayne Kirkpatrick, an Army veteran, a former resident of Portland and an employee with Cavins Oil Tools, died March 13, 2005. He was 51. Survivors include a daughter, Jessica Bucher of Portland; a son, Cody Kirkpatrick of Portland; his father and stepmother, Damon and Jacqueline Kirkpatrick of Portland; a sister, Dawn Mendiola of Hawaii; a brother, Michael Kirkpatrick; three stepbrothers, Stanley Cates of Florida and Brian and Brent Cates, both of Portland; and a grandchild. Services will be at 10 a.m. March 18 at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home, Sinton. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park, Corpus Christi.
