Inscription

"To the Memory
of
Martha Watson
consort of
Dr. Thom. Ten.[?] Watson
was born on the 15th of March 1811
and departed this life on the
5th of February 1830
Her life is her best eulogy it being a
practical illustration of ___ amiable
domestic qualities that dignify the
woman adorn the wife and endear the
daughter. This last sad tribute is
paid by one who tho lonely and dis-
consolate for the loss of his affectionate
wife is cheered by the reflection that
so much worth in heaven must
find a place."
