GOWANDA--
The funeral of Mrs. Gidley Christy of Erie, formerly of this place, was held yesterday at the Presbyterian Church.

The remains of Mrs. Gidley Christy were brought from Erie, Pa., and buried in Pine Hill cemetery Sunday. She was the daughter of Jerome Averill of this place.
Her death notice is in the Erie, Erie, PA paper on 2/20/1896.
