Edith was the second of fourteen children born to John Timothy Hussey, b. Oct. 27, 1855 in Spencer, IN. and d, Feb. 8, 1905 in Spring, Jefferson Co., AR.
& Annie Tabitha Calloway who was b. 1860 in MO. and d.1939.
John and Annie marr. Mar. 8, 1876.

SHERMAN - Edith Sherman passed away May 20, 1967. A native of Arkansas she had resided in this vicinity thirty-three years. She is survived by her sons, Squire of Kansas, B.L. of Missouri, Luther of Pasadena, August of Monrovia; daughters Marie Butler, Ethel Fincher, and Maude Clary of Pasadena and Verna Bender of Monrovia; brothers, Charles, Timothy and Bruce Hussy of Beaumont, McKinley and Louis Hussey of Arkansas; sisters, Edna Higgins of Arkansas and Evelyn Baker of Texas; twenty-seven grandchildren, fifty-five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Pasadena Grandmothers’ Club No. 32, the Degree of Pocahontas and the Women’s Relief Corp.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home. Interment Live Oak Memorial Park.
