SANFORD – Marion Shaw, 90, of Shaw's Ridge died Wednesday, October 21, 1981 at HD Goodall Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Springvale, January 20, 1891, the daughter of Ansel and Ruth Shaw Harmon and had lived in Sanford all her life. She was a member of North Parish Congregational Church. She was formerly a member of the Searchlight Club. Mrs. Shaw had helped her husband with all the farm operations for more than 50 years and was active until just prior to her death.
Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Harold J. Shaw of Sanford; a son, Richard H. Shaw of Waterboro; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1pm Friday at Heald Funeral Home, 61 Main St, Springvale. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Springvale. Calling hours are this evening from 7-9 at the funeral home.
