OBITUARY OF FAUN REYNOLDS

LAYTON, UT - Faun Livingston REYNOLDS, age 93, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Born July 18, 1913 in Fountain Green, Utah, to Heber and Mary Jane LIVINGSTON, joined her husband Asa F. REYNOLDS February 13, 2007. She was at her home in Layton, Utah.

She attended schools in Fountain Green until her family moved to Springville, Utah. There she continued her education, graduating from Springville High School and Brigham Young University. She then taught home economics in Fairview, Utah. While there she met Asa of Mount Pleasant, Utah on a blind date. After a short courtship, they sealed their love on November 22, 1939, in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. Faun taught school in the Davis County School District for over 20 years. During her teaching years, she was heavily involved in the PTA, not only in the school she taught, but also in the schools of her children.

During her life, she served in many leadership positions in the various organizations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as well as an ordinance worker in the Ogden L.D.S. Temple. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, Relief Society Singing Mothers, and various other service and social organizations.

She is survived by Kathleen HERMANSON, Bountiful, Utah; Brent (Kathy) REYNOLDS, Green-leaf, Idaho; Brenda (Leon) FLINDERS, West Wendover, Nevada; twelve grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Leslye (Richard) MILLER, San Jose, California; and one sister-in-law, Betty (Wayne) SMITH, Green River, Utah.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Asa F. REYNOLDS; twin children, Wendell Kay and Koralye; three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquists Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Mount Pleasant Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
