During the early 1950s, he appeared in the role of Frank on the ABC-TV comedy series "The Pride of the Family". He also appeared in the TV series "Gunsmoke", "Perry Mason", "The Virginian", "Here's Lucy", "Adam-12", "The Waltons" and many more. He was married to actress Teresa Blake and was the father of actor and make-up artist Michael F. Blake.
