Funeral services for Donna Blevins Dehart, 51, will be held at the downtown Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in St. Johns, Arizona, on April 16, 2011. Vistation will be at 10 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Saint Johns Cemetery.
Donna was born on May 27, 1959, in St. Johns, Arizona to Conrad and Vera Blevins and passed away on April 8, 2011.
She grew up in Grants, New Mexico and was a graduate of Grants High School, class of 1977 and after graduation moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to study nursing. It was there she met and married Johnny Dehart and worked as a nurse at St. Francis Hospital. Donna loved nursing, and taking care of others. Eventually the Deharts moved to St. Johns, Arizona, and started a family. Donna worked hard at her job, and taking care of her family until her health made it impossible to continue doing so.
Donna is survived by her daughters: Raven and Ciara Dehart of St. Johns, Arizona; stepson: Jeremiah Nix of Burleson, Texas; mother: Vera Blevins of Mesa, Arizona; brothers and sisters, Ward and Kelly Blevins of St. Johns, Arizona, Doug and Terrie Blevins of Milan, New Mexico, John and Cynthia Blevins of St. Johns, Arizona, Tom and Deanna Rasmussen of Doha, Qatar, William and Kristy Ropeter of St. Johns, Arizona ; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father: Conrad E. Blevins.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Dehart, Ward Blevins, Doug Blevins, John Blevins, William Ropeter and Kip Rothlisberger.
