Murder Victim. One of the victims of the DC Beltway Sniper, she was killed while she reading a book on a bench located outside the post office in Silver Spring, MD. She and her husband had immigrated from El Salvador, hoping to prosper in the States; they had one son. The 34 year old worked as a nanny/housekeeper and belonged to several church groups. A private person, those who knew her remembered a cheerful, loving woman dedicated to her child, her family, her church and her friends.
