Mary Mae Walters- Smith- Sullivan was the daughter of the late Addison "Ad" E. Walters and Martha "Molly" E. Chriswell. She was born in Mt. Pisgah, Wayne Co., Ky.
As I recall, everyone called her "Aunt Mae" regardless of their relationship to her. She was first married to Carl Smith and had seven children. They divorced. Her second marriage was to Johnny Sullivan.
When Aunt Mae's first husband, Carl, fell ill, she and Johnny took him in and cared for him until his death. Aunt Mae was always a kind and respectful soul. She is loved and deeply missed by her family.
