Myrtle R. Wells, 88, of 312 Galena St., passed away Monday, April 27 at the Janesville Health Care Center after a months illness. She was born in the Town of Magnolia, July 20, 1898. The former Myrtle Heron married Harry Wells Aug. 10, 1918 in Rockford. He died in 1968. They lived in the Footville area all their married life. She was a member of the Footville Church of Christ, the Sarah Circle of Kings Daughters and a member of the Footville American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son Harry T. of Janesville; 2 daughters Marilyn Nordeng and Lucille Callison, both of Janesville; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchilden; 1 great-great-grandchild. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Orfordville.
