Shirlene Gay Hale, 54, passed away March 26, 2003. Born in Oklahoma City to James & Dimple Sharum Jr. on April 3, 1948. She was a veteran of the United States Army & served her country well. Shirlene is survived by her sons, David Wright II, Wayne Hale & wife Beverly; sister, Sherry Sharum; daughters, Teresa Taliaferro & husband, Chris; grandchildren, David Wright III, Preston Wright, Nicole Hale, Travis Hale, Jamie Taliaferro, Joshua Taliaferro, she loved her family and was very loved by all who knew her. A funeral service will be held on March 29, 2003, Saturday at 2:00 P.M., Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
