ALBANY, Ga., April 5.--Thomas Michaell Ticknor, 72, son of the late Francis Orrery Ticknor, celebrated southern poet, died at his home here late today following an illness of two weeks that took a critical turn Wednesday night.
Mr. Ticknor had long been a prominent figure in the business, civic and religious life of Albany. He was at the head of the T. M. Ticknor Realty company at the time of his death.
Surviving relatives include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. M. W. Turlow, of Albany, and two brothers, F. O. Ticknor, of South Carolina, and W. N. Ticknor, of Albany.
