Beloved mother, grandmother, faithful friend, and devoted wife of the late iconic cabaret performer ("That Old Black Magic") Billy Daniels, Pierrette "Perri" Daniels passed away peacefully at her daughter's home with family and friends at her side.

Born in Montreal, Canada, Perri was a descendant of the historically famous Cameron clan of the Scotland Highlanders.

Perri may have been a French-Canadian country girl at heart, but she managed her husband's career during their thirty-seven-year marriage while raising their six beloved children. The Daniels family enjoyed a "country lifestyle" high in the hills of Hollywood, weekends away at their Palm Springs home, and many memorable trips traveling the world together where many lifelong friendships were forged. Perri and "Bill" were married from 1952 until his passing from cancer in October of 1988.

Perri was a consummate supporter of the NAACP, an activist in the civil rights movement and a passionate campaigner for both Hubert Humphrey and Robert Kennedy. She was immensely proud to vote for Barack Obama in 2008 and to see this country elect its first African American president. Her last accomplishment was to create the Billy Daniels Foundation. A non-profit foundation which provides scholarship awards for individuals and groups in performing arts in honor of her late husband.

Perri is survived by her two daughters, Dominique Desiree Daniels and Andrea Martine Grefelt, her two step-children, two sons-in-law, three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two sisters.

Memorial services are private.
