Mrs. Leonard Daigle, 51, of Evangeline died in a Lafayette hospital following a month's illness. She was born February 10, 1902 in Evangeline and had been a resident there all her life.

Funeral rites were held at the Millerville Catholic Church, with interment following in the church cemetery.

Surviving are her husband; four sons, Wilson, Elray and David of Evangeline and Leroy Daigle of Jennings; nine daughters, Mrs. Louis Deshotel, Mrs. Oran Miller and Mrs. Virgil Miller, of Jennings; Mrs. Clemile Doucet of Iota, Mrs. Edward LaFleur of Eunice, Margie, Helen, Elgia, and Carrie Daigle of Evangeline; 23 grandchildren; one brother, Raymond LeJeune of Evangeline; fours sisters, Mrs. Carmezile Daigle and Mrs. Olezia LeJeune of Jennings, Mrs. Julian Bergeaux and Mrs. Arsin Daigle of Evangeline..
