William Dunaway, Retired Loudon Farmer, Dies

Beecher City — William Ross Dunaway, 83, retired Loudon township farmer, died at 1:30 a.m. today at Shelby County hospital, Shelbyville, where he had been a patient for about two months.

Born in Loudon township, Fayette county on Nov. 4, 1883, he was a son of the late John Ed and Martha Clough(sic) Dunaway. He was married to the former Bee Morris, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Irene Bieber of Beecher City; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Springman of Alton; brothers, Charles of Neosho, Mo.; Walter, Holland, Mich.; Dan of Creve Couer, Lain of Beecher City; Raul of Flora, Jess of Vandalia, and Alf of Loogootee, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cook funeral home in Beecher City, with burial in Spring Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Saturday.
