Funeral services for Julian Bergeaux, 65, who died at the Jennings American Legion Hospital, were held from the Millerville Catholic Church with internment following in the church cemetery.

Mr. Bergeaux was born in Acadia Parish in 1888 and had been a resident of the Evangeline area all his life. He was a farmer.

He was survived by his widow, the former Angelina LeJeune, three sons; Allie and Clifton Bergeaux of Evangeline and Howard Bergeaux in the Air Force stationed in France; five daughters, Mrs. Theophile Hebert and Mrs. Morris Miller of Evangeline, Mrs. Ulysses Fruge of Rayne, Mrs. Loyd Simar of Jennings, and Mrs. Jerry Wade of New Iberia; one brother Arvellien Bergeaux of Evangeline, one sister Mrs. Edmar Doucet of Jennings, sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild .
