Catherine "Cathy" Schwantes, 59, Manitowoc, formerly of Custer, died Friday, Jan. 17, 1997, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. There are relatives in this area.
Funeral services were held Jan. 20, at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Rev. James Massart officiated. Burial was in St. Anne Church Cemetery, Francis Creek.
She was born April 29, 1937, she was married to Peter Schwantes at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He survives.
Survivors besides her husband include three daughters, Sue (Greg) Schmeichel, Two Rivers, and Ann Schwantes and Sandy Schwantes, both of Manitowoc; two sons, Edward (Terri), Manitowoc, and Jim (Sue), Appleton; six grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Kluczykowski, Manitowoc, and Betty Kerscher, Francis Creek; and two brothers, Gary (Priscilla) Kluczykowski, Norcross, GA, and Robert (Louise) Kluczykowski, Two Rivers.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
