Roll of Honor at Ferry Grammar School.
In 1896 she graduated from high school.

Miss Betsey Gowen died last night at the family residence.
The death was a very sad one as she had been ill only a short time.
She was a bookkeeper for the Biddle & Smart Company; and was a member of the E. H. Whittier Club.
She has a very large circle of friends by whom she will be greatly mourned.
