Christian C. Klay died early Sunday morning at his home, five miles southeast of Pana, aged sixty-five years. He had been ill for some time with a complication of diseases. Mr. Klay was an old resident of this vicinity.
He leaves a widow and five children Fred, Jacob, Walter and
Rudolph at home, Miss Rosa of Colorado Springs and Miss Lena of Pana. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock
Tuesday afternoon at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. The burial was at Linwood cemetery.
