Mrs. Carr was born Aug. 31, 1928, to James William and Nancy Jane Alexander Wynn both deceased, in Berrien County. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by eleven siblings and her husband of sixty four and a half years, E. Dalton Carr who died Nov. 4, 2010. Mrs. Carr was the youngest of the thirteen Wynn children. She was a resident of Tift County for most of her adult life and graduated from Tifton High School. During her early years she worked for Patrick Pecan Co. then for Doctors W. F. and Charles Zimmerman medical practice. As a devoted wife, she co-owned and helped her husband in the grocery business for twenty eight years at Eastside Superette. As a dedicated member of New River Baptist Church before her health failed her, she served as a choir member and she was very involved in the new building landscape project. She loved gardening, receiving garden spot of the month honors, cooking, sewing, and watching Atlanta Braves Baseball.
Survivors include, her son and daughter-in-law, of Warner Robins, daughter and son-in-law, of Tifton, and her grandchildren and sister; Lillie of Kernersville, NC., brother in-law and sister-in-law , Sisterin-law, all of Tifton, brother-in-law and sister-in-law of Newnan, sister-in-law, of Norman Park and brother -in-law and sister-in -law, of The Villages, Fl.
